What percentage of people in the world know what the word "conscience" means?

I'm thinking maybe about 50% understand, as well as listen to thier conscience. Wow, That would be pretty scary though, wouldn't it ? 50% of people walking around with virtually no internal policing system.

Unfortunately, it seems it's getting less and less as time progresses. Many know what it means, but just don't listen to it, or are psychopaths.

not many 30%...however, many people use that word....:). i know in Europe they more about it than in USA
