Do I hear greed in that statement?

I hope you don't really mean what this question implies.

Anyone who would trick (tricking is bad enough)
their grandma (the most vulnerable person on the planet)
to give them money (greedy, greedy)
is lower than the lowest rattlesnake north of the Rio Grande.

If Grandma offers, you may accept and thank her properly, provided it's okay with your parents that you keep it.

Otherwise, keep quiet, and give thanks in your prayers before bed that you HAVE a grandmother to visit you.

Wow, you are such a wonderful person! *note that that is dripping with sarcasm.

Why don't you ask. Or better yet, find a job and EARN the money.

You won't get any karma points for tricking someone into "giving" you money.

Nice child you are! How about just being very nice to grandma and not asking for a change? It is far better to give time and attention without ulterior (look that word up dear!) motives!

I hope you only though is NOT how to trick your grandmother into giving you more money?

Not a good plan. Get a job.

Glad I'm not your Grandma, thinking of her as a free bank, you might want to rethink this before she arrives.
