Yes because it's so partisan. If someone doesn't like the answerer's answer because of their political stance, they'll get a warning. It's not about the quality of the question, it's about your political stance. That's a shame.

Nah, I just have to cut back on the obscenities a little. For instance, I was giving an answer about Clinton's presidency and it involved alot of graphic descriptions of sex acts. So now whenever I talk about what Clinton did in the Oval Office for 8 years, I use the phrase "Shaking Hands with Ivan the Gorilla". Passes the censors every time.

I get violation notices a lot now.....and I finally found out the real reason...........

it seems that yahoo decided that young people like college punks and such....do the bulk of spending on trash items that yahoo derives a significant portion of their income from...directly and indirectly

so to pander to these people, any truthful or insightful answer is often "deleted"...

the yahoo is trying to steer the Q and A to a younger and more naive audience...so thats why we now see questions on simple things and childish questions on politics or war........................its rather pathetic that a potentially effective open exchange forum like this......has been reduced or "dumbed down" to accomodate the high school children that want to hear "simple entertaining" answers

serious questions and answers have a very limited scope...........

the questions most viewed have to do with child movie stars or tips on a first date kiss.
absolute inane rubbish

but these are the fools that spend someones hard earned dollars on plastic junk with a lifetime of a few months.....

the decline of the Yahoo Q and A oddly parallels American society as it spirals downward in an intellectual slow death

the US Army had to rewrite basic manuals to accomodate a 6th grade reading level

a college degree today will get some punk a job the offers the opportunity of
"do you want to supersize it ?"

or

"to go or eat here"

the Yahoo Q and A is censored to protect the school age morons that spend money on crap.............

what is really needed are two yahoo Q and A forums

one for adults and one for the children

My major complaint is that Yahoo while censoring answers DOES NOT CENSOR QUESTIONS to any degree.

I have come across questions that incite criminal activity, questions that in Canada contain wordage that would see the poster prosecuted under our Hate Crimes Law etc etc.

I have BLASTED these racists etc and lo and behold I get a violation notice.

No doubt if a saw a person committing or encouraging a pedophilic act and reacted to it by screaming PEDOPHILE ,Yahoo would have me arrested or at least send me a VIOLATION NOTICE.

If this board is to monitored ,all the board should be monitored.

it particularly is by using nature of the subject count number. Politics by way of its very nature has been and continuously would be divisive. in spite of the undeniable fact that, it won't basically be divisive yet call calling, and finger pointing. incredibly some on the two part in simple terms like call calling and pointing arms, which in my journey would not upload to talk basically incites anger. yet besides it particularly is a subject count number a lot of human beings are captivated with and many folk are divided alongside very clean lines.

I don't think Yahoo reads the Q or A before deleting it. Funny thing is, the people making the complaints are the worse abusers of any "community standards". They think they can say anything and if you disagree your answer should be removed. I think they should be removed. But to answer your question, yes.

YA can't censor. They are not a govt agency and thus cannot censor. As a business they are allowed to pick and choose their content.

I think a lot of the answers that 'censored' are either very derogatory or simply silly. I would really, honestly, love to see real political debate more often on this site, rather than the name calling and finger pointing that has become the modern version of 'political debate'.

Ya. The last thing we need is more censorship. Somethings just need saying and some times the words of reality are unpalatable to the PC crowd.

Those who report at a drop of the hat are the real culprits!

Tell me why you think my answer here was deleted!

Question: why is repoblicans so smort and inteligenters like me?
Deleted Answer: OH how clever! Pretend to be a republican, then act stupid to make all republicans look bad! Gee, don't I love the humor!!

If you think it was insulting, was it as insulting as the question itself?
