I recently filed a motion against my ex to get summertime visitation as well as 2 nights a week, every other weekend and 2 weeks of vacation time. What is the likelihood that I will receive all of this? If it is not likely, how much time is likely? I live in NJ.

It is not only likely, but possible. If you go to www.myparentingportal.com, there is a link to custody by states. Non custodial parents have visitation rights, and what you are asking for is BASIC visitation for a non custodial parent. You should absolutely get it.

if you have a good parental record it is highly likely. in some states unfortunately your chances are still good if you are not the greatest parent. for the summertime visitation that is. all that two nights a week.. stuff is too ,much.. especially if the children have school and other activities. that is just too much shuffling around. also the children need stability... when with the custodial parent to get into a regular routine. a judge knowing what he is doing would deny all that week day stuff. and you should put the kids first.. as well. do not be selfish think of what is best for them.

Most courts would probably go for the "average" Every other weekend, and 2 non consecutive weeks in the summer... At least that's what is considered "standard" here in PA

every state has there own child visitaion laws. you need to go to your lawyer and have him give you a copy of what those are. or you could go to the court library and get copies there. You have rights as a parent non-custodial or not.
