I'm in Arizona and got married in Feb. We bought the license to marry. Since we were already at the courthouse we just married right there and then.
A family member says that I need to purchase the original. What do u think or know?

You need to purchase a copy of the original, filed document.

the original is kept on file in the county. what you get is a legal copy if you need one.
