I'll admit that my "sky" shifts gears, usually from Partly Cloudy to Gray & Gloomy....and back again. ^_^ As far as today's weather goes, it was a bit Partly Cloudy but has recently, in the past hour or so, become Gray & Gloomy.
Weather is like that. So is my mood lately because things have a habit of not working like they should (*ahem* Yahoo?).
But the big thing with me is.....there are *always, Always* clouds. Sometimes they overwhelm and overpower, sometimes not, but they are always there. I can remember, back when I was a little kid, hating clear and sunny days in part because the sun just seemed *too bright* and my eyes would always water and my nose would get the sniffles. My eyes just didn't want to function unless there were clouds or unless it was dimmer and darker, and when it was, the colors seemed richer--more saturated, less bleached out by the light. And my senses have *always* had a love affair with thick, clean natural fog. Eyes, the skin of my face, the way sounds are softened to my ears.... ^_^
But now. I'm really beginning to despise the crappy weather, and the way my mis-wired senses overreact to good weather.
And in terms of mood....I want to be done with clouds and rain and fear and pain. The thunder may only know what the lightning sees, but I just want to be done with the drama and the pain already.
Because the thunder only happens when it's raining. ^_^
And yeah, I am going to have to put up with *even more* so-called professionals telling me that the "clouds" and the "rain" are needed to keep me from becoming a desert, but you know what?
I wouldn't mind being sunny and *barren*, except for a few palm trees. ^_^ Yep, if someone's doing a mindwipe, sign me up, fry my brains, make me a good little drone, it's all you people want of me anyway.....
But yeah, I hope this helps. ^_^ Thanks for your time!

I'd say alittle of all of the above. clear blue-loving family and friends. partly cloudy -ups and downs in life. gray and gloomy-grandmother just passed away 5 days ago. starry night- always dreaming of the possibilities life has to offer. dark-midnight - romance and mysterious. dawn ivory- new beginnings and the future.

Yes, I believe that my Life is like the Clear Blue Sky, because sometime or other, some problems arise with the Family, but nothing I cannot handle.

At this moment, my sky is gray and gloomy. It's usually clear and azure blue, and I am not normally in these conditions, especially in the last two years. With gray and gloomy skies one can either expect rain (or in the case of Texas, torrential rains) or perhaps the clouds will part to make way for the brilliant sun once again. I pray for the latter.

Well, I think my forecast for life right now is a dawn ivory sky. I feel like everything is just starting up for me. I have new and exciting opportunities ahead of me, new places to go and different people to meet. I'm looking at the world in a new perspective and I feel like my life has just begun=)

My sky is all of the above, except the "gloomy" part. Not using that metaphor, I find clear blue skies rather boring. I like to see something HAPPENING! I prefer grey stormy, then midnight & then dawn. There's drama in them, & not the others, at least to me.

I have moved out of gray & gloomy, though knowing life, the clouds will come again eventually - they always do, but I mean that realistically not pessmistically. Next time I will just have to remember to get me umbrella and rain coat.
Right now, I am experiencing blue skies with big puffy white cotton ball clouds lazily drifting through - they mean no harm, just passing by.

My sky is mostly dark at midnight, but with some stars. Those stars are the lighthouses among a great ocean of uncertainty, mystery, and hopelessness
