What kind of soap do you use? Make sure that not too much shampoo gets left on your skin. Use cooler water when bathing, and rinse well. Pat very dry. Put lanolin or glycerin product on. If hot, swollen, painful and red, see your doctor. Neosporin will help other reasons for the rash to heal as well. Sounds' like the area is inflamed from not washing well in the surface of the nipple, and doing things that chap them to let inflammation set in.
Change your bra every day and wash them, using fabric softener to soften and rinse twice before using again. Rinse undergarments in two Tablespoons of bleach in the wash water to kill bacteria.
Use cotton ones- but airing out is best until healed. No Foam or thick material!
There may be some stuff in the water where you swam.
Dirty, sweaty clothes and also combined with soapy residue irritates' rashes and can cause it.
Thick bras promotes' fungus as it holds' the heat in the skin that yeast and such can grow on. If you got silicone pads, clean with alcohol after using.
If the skin look's like an orange peel, rule out cancer.
Also, STD's can give infection. My husband gave me a nasty bug called Serratia after my baby, because he would not wait for Vaginal sex- if you know what I mean, and introduced dirt and bacteria that went all the way up to my breasts and I could not nurse my baby without extreme pain. I was so sick! It caused scar tissue from the infection, so now they are dense and have fibrous disease more easily. Not easy to look for cancer in Mammogram in this case, so a Cat scan is probably what I need when I get lumps.

hmm, i figure that that was caused from the rough fabric of your shirt rubbing on your boobs, (next time wear a swimsuit, or top swim thingy with a shirt over it) and if you just leave your boobs alone for a while they will be fine by Saturday.

it's a skin irritation. like if you scratch somewhere too much and you skin turns read and stings. same thing. i would think it is from the wet tee shirt, the rubbing and the cotton could do it.
