I SAW ONLY part of the movie. OR
I ONLY SAW part of the movie.

which one is grammatically correct? If they both are then which one SOUNDS better then. Also is the word SAW grammatically correct or should I just say "watched"? Please reply ASAP thanks

If you only saw, it means you didn't hear or feel. You only saw. However, if you saw only part of a movie, you didn't see the whole thing.

The second one... but you would be better to say

I only saw A part of the movie.
