I'm trying to learn Turkish now and it's pretty hard. It has a different word order from English. I already speak French and some Spanish and those are much easier for English speakers.

most of your asian languages are level 5's.
they rate languages on a scale from 1 to 5, 1 being the absolute easiest to learn and use.

I would say Latin, but then again the English language is suppose to be one of the toughest due to all our slang and local dialects!

IMO, french...there's so many damn verb tenses and female/male crap..gosh...but any language can become easy to comprehend after a several years of practise

there is actually a system which categorizes languages according to difficulty. i believe that english is one of the hardest, if not the hardest, with chinese and korean close behind, then arabic and russian and japanese.

its actually English, surprisingly enough because it has so many rules and compared to other languages when you translate it, it cam sound "wrong" but the easiest language is Spanish just to tell you that
