A question for black men who are in interracial relationships??

Why do black men who are in interracial relationship say horrible & mean stereotypes about black women??
I'm a black woman who is none of those things. I wish people would stop believe all the negative stereotypes about us. Those stereotypes are really mean and very hurtful.. Most black women don't really care what you date.

I hope you think about your mothers, sisters, black women and women in general you are disrepecting when you put us down...

Ive wondered that myself, because I think some black american men are just complete idiots for bashing black american women, just because they are dating white/nonblack women? Im a black woman (Nigerian) who dates only white men, but I dont go around bashing my own race of men- thats a form of self hatred. I mean we all know black american women in general are doing way better than black american men. These men should be taking their time to catch up with black american women, and assume their roles in the black american community, not put them down. Isnt it a shame that black american women have been forced to wear the pants in their societies? These women deserve so much more than all the bashing.

I'm a black man in an interracial relationship and my previous relationship was with a black woman I don’t harbor any hard felling towards her or for that matter talk bad about her. My new relationship just happened it wasn’t about color or preference it is about being happy. This is my son from my current relationship...

i hate that so much. i was watching this show on tv one where there were all these black guys in interracial relationships disccusing them and one guy was such an idiot. he was saying he likes white girls better cuz they are more freakier in the bed and they buy stuff for him. basicalli he said white girls spoil them while black girls dont. first off i dont kno why any guy would want to be with a women who acts like his pet more than his girlfriend. secondly i kno many black females who take anything from their men and do whatever they say. i dont have any problem with interracial dating. im multiracial and i date men of all races. i jus dont like it wen someone strictly decides not do date a specific race and i think its stupid if you are one race and say you hate all men/women of your own race. thats ridiculous. i mean how do you stereotype your own race?

I don't really care what the black guys say bad about black women, they are not worth my time. Besides being black, any type of guy loves to talk bad about women to make themselves feel better. It depends on the guy.

I was on my way to Taco Bell last weekend coming from a club downtown, the next thing you know I here all of this cursing and screaming in some cars behind me. Everyone at the redlight were looking to see what was going on. It was two car loads of sistahs cursing each other out and threatning to kick each others asses in the street. They were like "Oh no you didn't *****, I'll put ma foot in yo ***!" I just shook my head and took off.
Now I aint saying chit bad about black women but that chit happened on the real and I don't like seeing black women make asses of themselves like that out in public!

I know thats right girl.
I'm tired of hearing Black men talking bad about Black women. We're trying to get rid of all these stereotypes and stuff, then you talk bad about us to make yourself look good. And it will be the same one who will call you a ***.ga, and all kinds of names, then be respectful to all the women of other races. I'm tired of it.

I totally agree with you! I am not a black man...but I am a white woman married to one. I can honestly tell you that my husband NEVER puts down a black woman! I know there are some black men who do and my husband always reminds them that their mother is a black woman. That usually shuts them up...at least in front of him.

That's a shame and just wrong.

Fortunately, my husband is respectful of ALL women. I wouldn't have it any other way. And he didn't marry me just because I am white. He finds black women very attractive too.

I know that I could care more, only if I didn't so care so little about who or what someone dates... I am a black woman and I know that I and many others, carry ourselves with class and dignity. So, all the b.s. people want to throw around, are crumbs for the birds~

I have no problem with black women in general, though the ones that stare and make comments about me and my significant others past and present didn't always make it easy for me to say that. I didn't get in interracial relationships because I had any big problem with black women if that's what you mean, I just always got along well with latinas and asians even just as friends.
