Democrats Aid Radical Islamists, Trial Lawyers

News item: "Democrats are trying to pull a provision from a homeland security bill that will protect the public from being sued for reporting suspicious behavior that may lead to a terrorist attack..." This bill was proposed by Peter King, and it was in the aftermath of the flying imams, those six of them that got on an airplane in Minneapolis and started behaving in a manner similar to what was reported on the flights on 9/11. So some passengers and flight crew reported 'em, and the imams threatened to sue the airline and the passengers and all that. So they introduced this legislation that would protect the public from being sued for reporting suspicious behavior. But the government itself is telling us to do this. "Be vigilant out there! Keep an eye out! Keep a sharp eye out for suspicious behavior!" Now, the Democrats are trying to take this out. "This legislation moves to a House and Senate conference committee this afternoon and will implement final recommendations from the 9/11 Commission, and Peter King said, 'Democrats are trying to find any technical excuse to keep immunity out of the language of the bill to protect citizens who, in good faith, report suspicious activity to the cops or law enforcement. It's a slap in the face of good citizens who do their patriotic duty and come forward and it caves in to radical Islamists.'" It does! What in the world is the benefit to the Democrats of this? The trial lawyers! All right. "How dare you try to limit lawsuits?" is the answer to the question, ladies and gentlemen. The trial lawyers. This is a potential goldmine out there waiting to be raked in. I'm glad you asked.

Even raving Liberals should be able to understand the lunacy of turning a blind eye to suspicious behavior to pay homage to the dictates of Political Correctness.

Let's take a hypothetical situation out of America, and relocate it to Saudi Arabia. Imagine I am next to one of their biggest mosques. For no apparent reason, I pull out a tape measure, and write down how thick the support walls are. Under my arm is a book on how to make a bomb. I'm talking into my cell phone, but I suspiciously flip it shut whenever anyone comes near me.

Don't you think the Saudis would have the right to arrest me based on the grounds of reasonable suspicion?

Liberals have to look at the big picture. They oppose every single method we have devised for fighting terror. Our effectiveness is diminished every time they whine about some innocuous provision that has never hurt an innocent person. This is no way to fight a war. We can't beat a savage enemy with both eyes shut and one arm tied behind our back.

Because all trial lawyers are Democrats. And many of them are Senators, and Representatives. Like John Edwards, who liberals used to love until he embarrassed them, and many others. Also, they have no idea what "health care reform" means. They just thinks absolutely every person that exists (unless you are talking about an unborn child - they don't think they exist and call them "fetuses" so they can feel better about killing them) deserves a free lunch off the backs of the "rich" (anyone that makes more money than them - which is everyone). Liberals are fundamentally unfair people. They love unfair and frivolous lawsuits and the lawyers that help them happen. An example is the twenty or so absolutely LAME "charges against" Sarah Palin. Trial lawyers are what liberals use to fight what they are afraid of, and it is how they make money - they will never ever do away with them. Those are the facts, as much as they might hate me now, it is true. Oh - and they WILL hate me now because although they preach about "tolerance of other ideas, and lifestyles than your own" they mean with the exception of Christians and Conservatives, and anyone that disagrees. They are hypocrites through and through! And most of them are not very smart.

Maybe Americans should stop racial profiling and stop being paranoid!

What were the Muslims doing that was so suspicious? Praying or wait... reading the Quran or just talking in Arabic?

What is suspicious behavior? Just looking like a Muslim or wearing a headscarf?

The government can make anybody just disappear and you won't be able to talk to your lawyer or family just because some American reported you, because you were reading the Quran on the airplane.

I think that with the government spying on us is good enough with protection against terrorists that they created.

You are against the trial lawyers until someone gets a bug up their bu77 and decides they don't like you and reports you as a terrorist, then what? Circumstances can make you look guilty, especially if they twist your words and behaviors around to suit their purposes. Be afraid, be very afraid.
