Marrying at that age is usually a bad thing. Not always but usually. And with your guys history I would recommend that you date eachother alot longer before you make a commitment like marraige. Marraige is a serious thing not something that should be done unless your completely sure. If your serious about him date exclusively for a couple years if your still in love and wanting to get married then thats fine.

Yer 18!
Forget marriage for at least 10 years!
If he's for you he'll be there for you in those 10 years. After the 10 decide whether living together is economically good and expansion is welcomed. What is important is to stay focussed on yer friendship and how to enhance this feeling - though believe that feeling can and will change with time. So look deeper into the lines along those areas as unknowns. Don't be shy of it - if you both want and get - then think about house, car, job, family, incomes, holiday and betterment of all of these in unison...

It would be a bad thing because you are still young. Come on think about it you are 18 and out of HS, all you want to do is party and take a break for 6 months to a year and then look into your goals. Not to be tied down!

You're way too young to get married. You should wait a couple years to see if you two are still together, and wait until you're both older. Besides, you should enjoy life and get started on getting a job and going to college and experiencing all that before you even think about settling down and starting a family.

I did that...it didn't work out. I think it's great that you have a friendship, too. What about college? Do you guys have plans for after high school? That is usually a great growing time for the both of you ....you'd have time to see if that's something that you both really want. If you make it through that time, then you have a better chance of knowing it's the real deal.

Look, i don't know either of you, but i don't think anybody should get married unless they have been dating more than a year.

2 years is even better. I know everybody tells you this, but you can't imagine how different you will be in just 4 or 5 years.

I am the poster child for getting married too fast. I married a guy I knew for 3 weeks! Major mistake, I divorced him only after a month. Don't waste your time, thats too quick.

Don't know about a "back thing"...but you are way too young to be married. You need time to mature. You both do.

Don't worry about it. By the time that next year roles around, you two will have fought again and he will have changed his mind anyway.
