We have sold arms to every nation that we may have to go to war with in the future .
We have armed one regime that wipes out its own people only to go back later and arm the other side to promote a constant need for military hardware around the globe .

I am sick of this and you all should be too .

It was bad enough when China and Russia armed one side and us the other and we let our troops get killed for money in the past .

Today we know the score .

Bush flat out lied to the people to get a war going in the Middle east .

He pushed the patriot act over 1000 pages of law that creates a police state and even includes payoffs to chemical companies and sets aside aide to be used in other nations to battle so called terrorists . Columbia is loaded with terrorists and will be receiving even more guns money and military support .

Are you sick and tired of how this nation arms every side and sticks our people in the middle ??????

It's easy to sit back from this perspective and criticize and condemn, however, without full knowledge of the facts, and biased presentation by the media, it is hard to draw a conclusion as to wether the arming of different groups is good or not.

Our political leaders would do well by us to take more effort to inform us of what they believe and what their desired goals are when they take such actions, so we understand why they feel these actions are necessary.

Genocide, is illegal internationally, and we have an obligation as human beings to our fellow man to uphold dignity where none can be found. To do anything otherwise is to be not only complacent, but, acting in a manner that benefits the genocider, and in MY opinion that is as good as aligning and allying yourself with such.

Today, "America" is still held to account for its actions against my own Native American people, (though I do not personally do this, many however do) and Africans who were enslaved, along with the Irish who were mistreated, the Italians the same and now today we have the Hispanics....

I understand that you do not want to keep arming folks and nor to keep sending us to fight other peoples battles, (I served 25 years, 3 tours, mos:68w1) however, after seeing what I have seen, I could think of doing nothing short of arming innocent people to the teeth in an effort to allow them to defend themselves(which is a basic NATURAL right)against those that would impose death upon them and their kind.

I dare say that you should work on informing yourself of the facts a little more and understand that you are not privileged to ALL of the facts to be able to draw any type of judgement or conclusion that can be based on any perspective of reality.

Our government's poor choices no only puts our troops at risk but all Americans as well.

Jimmy Carter started the funding of a military hospital organization (similar to M*A*S*H units in Afghanistan. Funding continued through the Afghan war with the USSR. This organization is more commonly known as AL QAEDA today.

AH... but you forget.. they are supporting the troops!!!!!!

If this was not so serious it would be laughable. It makes me very very angry that this cabal have lost all sense of proportion and now think that by arming both sides it would clean up the way to steal the oil with impunity....

You didn't even scratch the surface on giving true insight into the situations you refer to. It is obvious that your understanding of foreign relations is shallow at best.
