It's ok. Ultrasounds are NOT necessary unless there is a medical reason. Some women get them to determine the gender of the baby, and some doctors do them routinely to "date" the pregnancy, but the scan is expensive and some insurance doesn't cover it unless there's a medical reason.
You are doing fine - congratulations!

It is best to wait until around 20 weeks to get a ultrasound. . Then you can tell the sex of the baby. Do you not have insurance. If you do insist on one to determine the due date. Mine changed by a month at my first ultrasound.

You really don't need an ultrasound. Some doctors like them just to check on the baby. As long as you're keeping your appointments and yourself healthy, you shouldn't worry about getting one.

I didn't have one until 21 weeks, and only because I asked for it. If you are concerned, just tell your Doctor you want one....keep in mind that it's recommended you wait until approx. 20 weeks if you want to know the gender - just to be sure!

what is your question? since you are concerned about not having an ultrasound yet, i assume you have been to the doctor. apparently s/he doesn't feel like you have needed to have one yet.
