Nope, not happening. simple things as a misdemeanor with regards to traffic citations is disqualifying people from getting a green card.. He will be deported. That is weird especially since he resisted arrest.

Theft of any kind is a crime of "moral turpitude," and this can act as an absolute bar to permanent residency or citizenship. If your friend is already deportable, then there's not that much he can do. Applying for a green card might only serve to attract ICE's attention.

in the journey that your chum is finding for a green card, then they're voters of yet another united states and - if here legally - are on some form of visa (vacationer, artwork, or study). between the regulations that alter into agreed to while paying for the visa (whichever form replace into in contact), replace into that the guy could abide by the regulations of the country to which they had come (specifically, the U. S.). Breaking that contract - by committing a criminal - is grounds for revoking the visa and finally, deportation (after the fines and reformatory time for the criminal are dealt with). you won't be able to get carry of a green card with out first having a valid visa. considering that his visa isn't valid, he won't be able to get carry of a green card. And, given the circumstances that invalidate the visa, he probably will never get carry of one, whether he manages to get carry of yet another visa sometime sooner or later. If he does lie on a destiny application and omits connection with the criminal, finding out approximately it after in ingredient of reality additionally a deportable offence ... observed by a ban from entering into the country in his lifetime.

NO because they check all your crime records and anything else you have done and if there is something on it like your grand theft your basically screwed but hey there is a tiny chance you might get it but its not a guarantee. i've seen people with crime records get deported when trying to get there green card by the way a lot of them to. unless u get the judge to curse at you and go off like heck them u automatically won that happen to someone i know. see if you can do that. cuz the judge cant be racist and bad like that.

He should be deported, but with the way ICE operates he most likely won't be. There is no way he should be granted a green card, but with this government he most likely will get one.
This is a great example of what illegals are doing to our neighborhoods and to this great country !
