wooden door? It's warped, probably due to moisture and heat
try twisting the knob open and then pushing down on the nob so that the door pulls away from the top of the frame. See if that works. Also try pulling the hinges out. Or try get the room down ro 65 degrees. This may allow the door to change shape just enough to loosen up. Wood will expand if it absorbs too much moisture, and condensing that moisture will allow it to contract,
Of course, the other problem could be tha the door frame has shifted dye to changes or settling in your apt's or house's foundation. If that's the case, then you'll have to call a professional...

It sounds like the door has swollen dur to humidity. If you have a dehumidifier, get it and turn it on and see if you can shrink the door. Also if you have access to the hinges, have someone pull the pins. This may allow you more movement and help move the door. If you think that for some reason that the door lock is holding the door shut, try putting a credit card in the edge of the door to release the lock.

knock out the hinges in the corner and the door will come right off. otherwise remove the door handle completely and just turn it with a flat head screw driver.
