I asked this where I should have and got no answers...let's see if anyone here knows what I am talking about.

It is something I have used for years. It used to be called a Power Lunch, but with the new tax codes, being able to expense the entire lunch for a group of people became impossible.

So what has happened is that each diner must pay for his or her meal. Hence the term "Power Plate".

I'm not a big fan of the system. It seems to take forever for everybody to sign their own checks. And the waiters aren't too thrilled either. The tipping is generally very low.

I hope I have been more helpful than the people in that other category.

You should know not to wander into the nether-land beyond P&S.

I thinks its a type of pay one price --- Eat all night deal ... right.
