There is no quick fix. It sounds like your brake pads are metal to metal. It may be the inner pad if you can't see it. Or you may have a really bad CV joint. You'll have to jack it up and take off the wheel to inspect it visually. Feel the back of the rotor And see if it's rough and not smooth, or visually look and see if the pad is gone and the metel part is all that is left.. With the CV joint just spin the wheel while it's on a jack and listen. Then reach around the wheel and grab the shaft between the inner and outer CV joint and wiggle it to see if it has excessive play in it. With the wheel or wheels off it should become obvious. And also a dead give away is if the Cv boot is torn or ripped so dirt and grime can get into the bearing and cause them to go bad. This can be done with the tire on. Also wiggle the tire side to side up and down and diagonally to see if you wheel bearings may be bad. They will also cause the symptoms your talking about.
But there is no quick fix for any of them. Just replacement will cure the problem

the mechanic may be precise. because of the fact which you have disc brakes. your front pads are continuously rubbing against the rotar somewhat. it incredibly is how they're designed. attempt going from 40 5 or fifty 5 to an entire give up with distinctive stress on the brake pedal. that ought to repair it if it incredibly is the situation.

It could be the CV joints or a wheel bearing going out. Have a mechanic look at it. The longer it is metal on metal the more it is going to cost you.

you have worn out your brakes to the point you have damaged your rotors. you have neglected your car to the point you or braking with nothing but brake no pad. hurry up and get this fixed. you will need brakes and rotors. we have them at autozone $20 for regular durlast. that rotor is going to be about 30 to 45 duralast. life time warranty for both. on the pads i would go with duralast gold on the brake pads because this is a 2005

sounds like one of two things to me. either a wheel bearing going out, or brakes worn out. Both require attention. I'd have a mechanic take a look at it. Sorry, it's not something that can be diagnosed here.

Check to see if your brake cylinders are retracting properly. You may need to turn your cylinders a bit more and re-lubricate them.
