I have to ask, why would the sperm be airborne?!

If you mean how long can sperm survive after ejaculation or how long they can live in the open-air, it depends on the situation, what kind of environment it's in and how much sperm is present. But, on average, sperm can't live for much longer than a few hours in the open-air. Sperm is inside a women's body, it can survive for up to seven days.

Ok wait im confused! Like the lil commandos got into there fighter pilots and flew through the air for the day? If you are asking something like if a man came and it was on a wash cloth is it still fertile! The answer is as long as the semen is still wet, the sperm can survive outside the body. If the semen has dried, been wiped off, or washed off, there are no longer any living sperm.

No.. once sperm has hit the air it only lasts for up to 3-4 hrs..in a sterile container.. on bed sheets..about 30 mins..

In your body.. it can last up to a week if the conditions are right.

if they are in the air they will die quick. my friend uses a sperm donor, and he tells her to use the sperm within 2 hours.it takes her an hour to get home,so she has to keep the sample in her cleavage,at body temp,on the train .apparently the donor has got 6 women pregnant this way.but the sperm MUST be kept sealed and at body temp..

A matter of hours or minutes, depending or air temperature.

It may live up to 72 hours in favorable conditions (appropriate temp, humidity etc.)

As long as the semen remains moist the sperm remain alive, when the semen dries the sperm die.

48 hours inside a woman

Sperm can survive in open air for HOURS!!!! They can not however survive beign dried out. 24 hours is probably safe enough time to assume they have dried.
