I read that somewhere, wasn't sure if it was true. Do you have a web address? I would like to see it. If he did get behind Peta on this issue against the monster Michael Vick, I will certainly have gained some respect for him.

Of course he did, the man is a sailboat....he goes whichever way the wind was blowing.

If the evidence werent completely damning, he'd be backing Vick up. But since he is, he goes around the other way and starts attacking him.

I think its horrible that people like Sharpton and Jackson act like they're the moral compass for the African American community, especially after Jackson railed against the Duke lax team before they were exonerated.

They should just keep their mouths shut and stop making every issue about race - its not about race, its about horrible cruelty to animals. If it was Peyton Manning or Troy Polamalu fighting pitbulls, it would be just as despiseable.

I'll admit, I was quite surprised by this. Normally whenever Al Sharpton sticks his nose in things, I immediately tune out. He does not speak for the entire African-American race, he's usually just trying to put himself in the spotlight. I've had my own personal issues against Michael Vick, but if all these things are true, sadly I suspect most if not all are, I completely stand by the decision for Nike and all his other sponsors to drop him.

Cheers.

well of course sharpton would do that it's the popular position right now and he doesn't ever need proof to convict anybody just any reason to shoot off his mouth and remind everyone how important he is to the survival of America

I heard that Jesse spoke on the matter. He said "Michael liked to play the football, but he also likes to bash dogs against the wall. Michael was the falcons quarterback, but now he likes to put dogs on the rack. Michael used to run like horses out of the stable, but now he loves shocking his dogs with battery cables."
