hillary clinton used to be on a marvelous mission when she wanted to provide everyone with universal health care coverage. however, she did not push through with her promise and is now receiving huge campaign contributions from doctors, hospitals, drug manufacturers and insurers. So how could she be in favor of anything if they are buying her out like that? other candidates also just seem to want to draw costs down, but not want to provide the people with free universal health care.

to azred_tx: because if your house catches fire and the fire department helps you, you are not paying for them. if the police comes to help you, you do not have to pay the police etc. etc.

As far as I know, not one candidate for president, either party, have been talking about universal health care coverage. I believe the business of universal health care coverage better be one of the most important issues in this campaign. Hillary has worked with the AMA, pharmaceutical companies and the health care insurance providers to provide better health care services but no one is as yet concerned that 50,000,000 Americans do not have health insurance coverage of any type. For America that is a real "slap in the face" when our lawmakers and political leaders get the best health care coverage offered at no cost to them. Not acceptable to this voter!

There is no such thing as "free universal health care". You *will* pay for it, one way or another.

Why should I pay for someone else's health care, hm?

edit: actually, I do pay for the local fire department and police--it's called "taxes".
