A well thought out and disciplined spell will work if the person creating the spell truly believes in their ability to create and carry forward the actions to bring the spell to fruition.
A spell can be as simple as: I go to sleep asking that it be deep and refreshing. So mote it be.

When you ask of witchcraft I assume that you are referring to witchcraft, not Wicca. I am not a Wiccan but I do practice witchcraft. Wicca is a newer religion that I just can't come to terms with even though I have studied it intensely.
It depends on what you mean by work when you ask if the spells I have cast actually work....They always work. It just may take time. And in some cases it may not be the exact desired results. When you cast a spell all that you are doing is manipulating energy towards a desired goal. Its like a spider web. You move one part and the results are felt way on the other side of teh web.
There are many different types of spells that you can do. Money, truth, wisdom, worship, peace, ect ect ect. The thing to remember is that you dont want to affect someones free will. Also whatever energies you send out in a spell will come back to you three fold whether it is good or bad.
I cast a truth spell once to know someones true intentions. The spell work but it ended up alot worst then I would have ever thought. A lot of thought needs to go into it before you decide to cast one. Is it worth the consequences.
Just one more note... Not all spells have negative consequences. You just have to be careful and be extremely selective in your spell work. Also try and write your own spells. You don't really want to trust a website or someone that you dont know with something so delicate.

No you do not have to be Wiccan or even a Witch to cast spells. It is intention and passion that makes a spell work well. It is your power, personal power.
Yes spells do actually work. But you have to be careful not to cast spells that manipulate people into doing things they would not normally do. Since there is a law of return and you can live to regret a spell meant to control others.
Having said that. Any spell you preform to improve yourself or your own life harming none that is more then acceptable. They work and you can make a really good life for yourself. Prosperous and pleasurable. For yourself and family around you. Just have to remember not to hurt any one while you work to get there.
Be careful and keep others in mind and good luck on your journey.

Yes, and yes. I do all sorts of spells- for health, money, love and friendship, healing, success, and so on. It's not that a certain kind of spell works- they all work if done correctly.
And no, you don't have to be Wiccan to cast spells. The majority are, of course, but you'd be surprised how many different religions have their own forms of "spells", even though they don't call them as such. You do not have to believe in the Wiccan Goddess and God to do spells, although it usually helps to have some sort of faith, whether in a being of higher power or in the universe's benevolence or whatever.
Good luck!

I wouldn't cast spells if they didn't work. The kind of spells I use depend on what I want to accomplish. I'd say 9 times out of 10 they work. And if they don't it's cause I wasn't putting my whole self into working my spell.

Not into witchcraft, but your question provides an excellent opportunity to encourage everyone to use the SPELL check before submitting questions or answers. Wonder if witches have that feature to turn to in checking their spells?

Most of my spells work. I usually cast for protection, or to better my situation (like the one I cast to land my new job.) Most of the time, if they don't it's because it isn't the proper time, or sometimes because I was in the wrong frame of mind when I cast and maybe asked for something harmful--one of the reasons I always add something like, "If this wish be true, and with harm to none." (Always cast in accordance with the Rede--saves much misery down the line.)

They do work you just have to be clear on your intent and like another poster said is it going to be worth it. They're not to be taken lightly. Sometimes they work immediately sometimes they take time to manifest. I agree wholeheartedly with writing the spells yourself. When u write them yourself the intent is clearer and the emotion is there and it comes from the heart......and to me those are the igredients of an effective spell.

I have done a little magick, although mainly to protect myself, so I'm not well versed in healing or the like. I've found the simplest and most effective spell one can have defensively is a good binding spell, however one must be careful how one words the bind, after all, what goes around comes around.

you odn't have to be a wiccan to be able to cast a spell, but you have to know the consequences of threefold rule.
