I hope his fans, especially kids, never think of him as a hero again.

RICHMOND, Va. —  When a Bad Newz Kennels dog was wounded in a losing illegal dogfight, NFL star Michael Vick was consulted before the animal was doused with water and electrocuted, some were beaten to death for losing. Some dogs were hanged & strangled when they lost the fight and thrown in a pit. The killing of these dogs was also a part of the "entertainment"

Regardless if Vick is found guilty, the fact that people can even THINK about treating animals this way is despicable. If found guilty, I hope he gets the maximum penalty and that the Falcons release him.

Although I do think the evidence points towards his guilt I wish you people would give him the respect of the court process. I would think that if any of you were charged with a crime that you wouldn't want to be crucified before all of the facts were out, correct? Now I am not defending the acts I am just saying people wouldn't be like this if the shoe was on the other foot.

It's alleged that he personally held fights on the premises. It is a fact that fights were held but exactly by whom is still unknown. Although, we do know that Bad Newz Kennels held these fights.

It's a fact that neighbor's confirm that the big black shed was built before the house was built. On the property was a mobile home before the current house was built.

Over 30 Pitbull carcasses have been unearthed on the property. Reports from state witnesses confirm that the dogs who lost and were severely injured in the fights were hung, electrocuted, or skull beaten. Whether Vick actually partook in these acts in not confirmed, however state witnesses do say he ordered the fates of some of these dogs which is just as bad as the act itself.

As of now, Vick is presumed innocent until proven guilty. However he is the owner of the property in which the fighting took place and odd number of deceased dogs were found on his property. With that said, he should be suspended indefinitely from the NFL until the results of this case are confirmed. He represents the NFL on and off the field and is responsible for his actions. It is his home and he is responsible for that. Whatever took place is his responsibility. Ignorance is not a defense!

I don't think we will ever have to worry about Michael Vick being a role model again, ever ever.

He's finished, and deservedly so.

Yesterday, Arthur Blank said they were standing by Michael Vick. Today he says the Falcons are exploring their options. I think the public outcry has definately made it 's point.

I am sick to the stomach. I am not from your neck of the woods but have answered a few posts related to this issue. The more I read the more angry I become. Honestly how can his people condone such behavior. I hope all of his fans turn their back on him... if they don't they need their heads read. What a pathetic excuse for a human being. He must be a creature from Hell.
The guys who bust him should get national recognition for their good work.
It is heartening to see how many animal lovers support Y/Q - Yes Sir there is hope.

No matter what happens in this case, Michael Vick's image will be forever tarnished by this. Electrecuting, drowning and shooting dogs is horrible, and with all of the evidence presented, no one can think Vick isn't partly guilty here.

Is there a psychological connection between the helpless dogs he's hurting and his ego with not being able to complete a pass or connect with a receiver on the field that he can't vent to when they mess up? Maybe he can't vent or connect with situations...like an abusive spouse...still he needs to find out even if it means prison to stop this repetitive, abusive behavior and-- even kids can relate to apologies.
