It depends what you consider middle class, but I would say the Republicans because they support lowering taxes for most of the tax brackets and the Democrats hurt the middle class by taxing them for social programs that they cannot use.

No one agrees on what amounts to the "middle class." For tax purposes, these days, Democrats are saying anyone who makes over $200,000 is rich.
I think Republican policies work. We have the lowest unemployment, the largest number of people working in US history, the highest wages.

Neither. The middle class is the greatest threat to the elite so they keep us divided, paying the largest chunk of taxes, and powerless.
