No, all the Republican Senators except for 4 agreed with Bush's plan to keep all the troops in Iraq.

The Congress has less Political Capital than Bush.

For us people that work, his Political Capital got us a great Tax Cut, and the Greatest Economy in the History of the Nation.

Pelosi seems to have said "You're my Daddy" to Bush as she has yet to overturn the Patriot Act, the child tax credit, prescription drug coverage for seniors, etc etc.

Pelosi just sent $5 Billion to Halliburton too!

She must worship Bush. She hasn't done a single thing other than give a raise to 12 million Mexicans.

So, Bush's political capital seems to have even Nancy under control. Nice job, Mr. President!

he is stronger than ever now. he can't be taken out of office. the Dem's are running around like headless chickens trying appease him with a bill that he will sign. are you kidding he's got political clout still. his veto's are not overturned. what does that tell you. it tells me that he's still politically loaded.

I think he put it all on credit and has been paying monthly payments. The interest is going to kill him, but the reward points means he can go to Red Lobster 500 times for free.
