No, it is not, what variety of guy or woman are you??? you like a knife to make a notch on the bedpost, get your self suitable organised, a chalk mark will in simple terms rub off it time. In time you;ll have a superbly carved mattress - and a powerful/undesirable recognition with the lads/females!

My bed has a canopy so it doesn't have any notches, it is a fully mirrored California King Waterbed.

By notches do you mean slept with? I guess so. I'm 24 and have one notch. I carved it when I was 17, and married her when I was 19!
And no, we don't have kids.
