im American and i admit im dumb sometimes but does it just seem that America is getting dumber by the second......then to top it off there being rewarded for it...i want to be rewarded for my stupidity.

The very phrase 'Dumb Americans' is rapidly becoming redundant...
Seriously, though, the 'Dumbing Down of America' is something of a real phenomenon, but it doesn't mean Americans are actually getting dumber - it's just that institutions are aiming lower and lower in thier discourse with the public.

Son, you are!
You get access to the free speech we fought for!
You get to express yourself because of what we fought for!
You get more freedom of religion than any time in history, because of what America fights for!
And you can be as stupid as you want and we still give it to you!
Sometimes I think it's stupid to reward the stupid, as well.
But ultimately, it's free speech which will topple the dictators, the religious intolerance, the political correctness that grips most of the rest of the world like an iron giant.
Isn't freedom wonderful!

-welfare for life
-equal rights if you are a pedophile, illegal immigrant, or pervert (you are just disadvantaged or edgy)
