Why do YA Conservatives refuse to take any responsibility for getting us entangled in this Iraq mess. You blame Liberals and the media for everything negative, like they make it all up. Is there absolutely nothing in your thought process that makes you say,"Mmmm, maybe this wasn't such a hot idea after all.", or does your mind say,"Everything wrong with Iraq is THEIR fault!"?

No, not everything is "their" fault. Look at the way both party's voted and the rhetoric about going to Iraq. (Before Bush was even in office.) It's only when things got tough that the Democrats and liberal media want to quit. We owe the Iraqi people! It's a mess and it's OUR mess. Sometimes the best solutions are not the easiest. For instance, cleaning up OUR mess.
Sorry, I think war is messy. We have accomplished much.

The war in Iraq is a mess? We completely eliminated the Iraqi army in less than a year and lost less than a 1000 troop in the process. In a few years we have dramatically changed the face of Iraq for the better. A higher percentage of Iraqis voted in their elections than Americans voted in our last election, and THEY went know they could be BLOWN up. And you call all of this a mess?

Republicans do not take responsibility for any of their actions.All they know how to do is blame others,The spinmasters like Rush blame the liberal media,Clinton and now the dems in congress.The republicans have become a very sad lot.

Because there are plenty of democrats in the House and Senate that refuse to take any responsibility for their vote to use military force. They just point fingers and pass the blame on to someone else. Why don't those liberals take some responsibility instead of calling people liars?

I don't agree. I am a conservative. I believe the fight for freedom is worth the effort. If the war goes on for 20 years and if thousands die, it will be all right with me, just so long as we do not give up. I abhor cowardice. I think anyone who is afraid to fight for freedom is a coward.
