John Lennon's murder had me in tears for the whole country.. he wanted peace..and was shot for that.

I cried when Princess Diana died. She was so young, so beautiful and a mother with young children and it was just so painful to think about. The world needs more women like her. Celebrities now a days lack so much heart that it makes the world seem so empty.

Not really a celebrity I guess, but I had a tear for Mo Mowlam - the woman that finally brought peace to the England/Ireland - and possibly about the only honest and decent politican we have had for decades.
Amazing woman that actually DID good deeds rather than just get spin doctors to make people THINK she was doing a good job.

I was sad about Anne Nicole's death.
She was, as some might say, a hot mess. But just as there is often a human cause behind a wreck, there was a human beneath that platinum blondness. A mother. A lover. A girlie girl who loved shoes and her big pink bedroom, who maybe believed that if she surrounded herself in everything sweet and princessy and wonderful, she would close her eyes and wake up happy, just like in the fairy tales.
It didn't quite work out that way. It doesn't usually work out that way for any of us. And I think it's the death of that collective dream that we're mourning.

I almost cried when Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter, died.
He was so great and my whole family LOVED him!!
His death was such a shock...a stingray, really! And he's used to handling all those venomous things...it was sad. He was so young, too. And he has those 2 little girls that now are going to grow up without a dad...it's just sad.
