What are the requirements for a room to be called a "bedroom" in Redwood Shores, CA?

Redwood Shores is a part of Redwood City, CA. I can't find the code that defines how large a room must be to be defined as a bedroom

Depends on who is "defining" it and for what purposes. The Den in my home in Florida (double doors) was considered a bedroom for deciding how big of a septic tank I needed. I would think that any room that could hold a bed "could" be considered a bedroom. Probably not to a potential buyer though.
