Lukewarm is the best to use. You should not use hot or cold but lukewarm at all times

well if the water is too hot it can stretch and damage your hair so it should just be warm. I enjoy washing guys hair so if your interested in a good hair wash let me know.

yes, but most likely cold water. Why? because it is hot in the summer so hot water would not help a bit. the hot water might damage your hair. the best thing though is that it is summer so it is hot outside, and cold water would be better for your hair, and feel much much cooler.

Hot water opens the cuticle and cold closes it. If your hair is coloured rinse in cold water to maintain the colour and help it from fading.

Cold water. It doesnt strip away nutrients like warm/hot water supposedly does.

You must adjust optimal temp. of water if you have grease kind of hair. In this times of high temp. you should mix warm and cold water, also that depence of kind of your hair and schampoo that you use.

the temperature doesn't really matter as long as you are washing your hair with shampoo.

For color treated hair i heard it is best to wash with colder water.
