It's a wonder I ever survived childhood. If I was a kid today, I'm sure that my parents would be brought up on charges. All of the items listed below were gifts I received at Christmas or on my birthday. If I had to choose only one, I'd say BB Gun.

BB Gun.
Pocket knives, hunting knives, fishing knives.
Vacuform: a device for molding toys from melting plastic.
Boxes of M80s.
A 20 Gage shotgun.

Oh I remember the toy you speak of , I think they were called creepy crawlers . My favorite toy was a sled that was too short for me and eventually became my most hated toy after a bad sledding accident . I got a running start and jumped on the sled just as the runners hit some hidden rocks and the sled stopped instantly , unfortunately I kept going smashing the boys downstairs and actually skinning myself up when caught between the wooden slats on top of the sled . It was a very long walk home .

That would be the high diving board at the local swimming pool. My Dad encouraged me to climb up and jump off. I should have jumped off the end where the water was. Oh well...

Broke my ankle on that little mishap!

I had a bug metal Tonka truck that I threw at my sister all the time when I was little. I wish I could still do that.

Metal "Tonka" trucks! I remember slicing my fingers on the edges, or getting them pinched when you lowered the dump truck.
