I have a salterwater tank with a yellowtail damsel, yellowtail chromis, crabs,a snail, live rock, two anemones, and a firefish. I use to have a scooter blenny, and blue damsel but the disappeared from my tank. There is no trace of them. And the pump didn't suck them up. What could have happened?

a damsel chromis and firefish are NOT going to hunt and eat a fish. they may have picked at the remains but they did NOT kill it.
what are your water parameters?
my bet is it's either the anemone or the crabs, what kind are they? if they're hermits, are they the large kind or the small ones? the small ones won't kill a fish but the big ones may.

Crabs and anemones eat fish. So do other fish. If the crab got ahold of a fish and killed it, thus eating part of it, the other fish will join in once the remains are far enough away from the crab. Don't know how big you anemones are but if they are big as some get and the fish is small. Bet anything one of the two got your fish.

That happened to me once (with freshwater fish, tho). I lost a couple of angelfish and never found them ...
...until a few months later when I moved some furniture to vacuum underneath. Lo and behold, there they were: two angelfish potato chips covered in fuzz.
They had aparently jumped out one night and flopped their way across the room, where they finally came to rest under a dresser.

Well, contrary to popular belief ...fish are not capable of time travel...so your choices...
1) One of the other fish in your tank ate him.
2) You have a cat that had a nice afternoon snack.
3) Your fish jumped out of the tank and is somewhere in the room dead and out of sight. Or check your tank filter...I have heard some folks state their fishes get in there somehow.

The crabs will snatch them and eat them. My folks lost a lot of expensive salt water fish to a small crab (darn, too small for crab legs)

It sounds to me like somebody is not good in a community tank. I think they got eaten.

Chances are that either your firefish, damsel, or chromis ate them. Those are predatory fish.

well they were eaten by other fish or your cat don't you watch cartoons that how it happened on them, what you could do is set up a video camera aimed at the tank and record that way if it happens again you will know who is guilty....
