Well first there is a boy and ... I mean a MAN and a WOMAN, who love eachother very much, then they go somewheres very private and then they take off eachothers clothes and then the man inserts his erect penis into the woman's vagina. When the man is very excited he ejaculates into the woman and the sperm find their way into the woman's ovum(the egg) and usually one sperm will be able to penetrate and that one sperm will eventually turn into a baby.

Sperm are the male "seeds" that contribute to starting a new life - living sperm look a lot like tadpoles (under a microscope).
When sperm are ejaculated [say e-jak-u-lay-ted] by the male during sexual intercourse, they swim up the vagina [vaj-eye-na], through the cervix [sir-vix], into the uterus [you-ter-us] and into the fallopian [fal-o-pe-an] tubes of the female. These sperm are looking for an ovum (or egg) to fertilise.

When a female is born she carries thousands of ova or eggs ready to use when she becomes adult. These are the female "seeds" that, along with sperm, contribute to creating a new life.
Once a month, the female releases an ovum (one egg) .
If an ovum has been released, a sperm can unite with it, fertilise it and make the first cell of a new baby.
Once one sperm has fertilised the ovum, no other sperm can get in - the female is now pregnant.

babies are made during ovulation when a egg goes threw the falopian tube waiting to be ferterlise, that is when the sperm meets the egg an this is when fertilization takes place, when they meet couple days later it falls into the uterus where it turns into a embryo
