There is NO metro to the game... it takes a LONG time to get INTO and OUT of the parking lot!
(that is why dodger fans have long been known as arriving late and leaving early. In truth... many are there before the game starts, but that last 1/2 mile, parking and walking into the park can take FOREVER. AND... if you want to be home before midnight, sometimes you have to try and leave early to beat the traffic.)
Bring SUNSCREEN!!!! It can be hot and VERY sunny. You can burn before you know it.
Bring 1 liter bottles of water. (Save some money and keep hydrated!)
Bring a PIN to pop all the stupid beachballs.
Bring your patience to deal with the LONG lines for food... oh and you'll need patience for the many fools that are more interested in the wave than they are in the game.
If you're a fan of the opposing team, bring shout wipes, or a tide-to-go pen... you will likey get things thrown at you. (Dodger Stadium has been over run by Raider fans and other thugs that feel intimidation is part of THEIR fun.)
The game should be between 2.5 and 3.5 hours (on average.)
Hopefully you'll sit next to some real baseball fans (There are still a few that go.) and you'll have a fun day under the sun enjoying AMERICA'S PASTIME!

Get there early. At least an hour, because parking is very confusing for a first timer.
Sit as close to home plate as possible, but stay away from general admission seats behind the plate unless you bring some climbing gear. There's also the right field pavilion section (outfield), where $40 gets you as many hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn, nachos and cokes you can handle.
Games last 2-half to 3 hours, depends on how high scoring it is.
I don't know how close a bus gets you, but I dont think there are any Metro links very close. Dodger Stadium is up a hill.
If you're a Dodger fan, the experience in itself will be a good one. The food is great, the stadium is beautiful, and there's nothing like 40,000+ people all gathered together to cheer for the same team.
Good luck and enjoy yourself.

Don't let all these idiots scare you, its not as bad as they are making it sound and no you don't need to speak Spanish! Bring water and some snacks if you want. If you don't care about autographs and want reasonably priced good seats, sit in the Infield Reserve (tickets about 25 bucks). I do suggest getting there early, but DON'T leave early (if they are winning). Games usually last around 3 hours. Food lines usually take about ten to fifteen minutes, and a word of warning its very expensive! (go when the away team is batting). Fans are respectful of the other teams fans, last time I was there the place was loaded with Mets fans and yeah you get the boos and some shouts, but nothing more than that.
Relax, have fun and Go Dodgers!!!

Go online and try to find a $200 seat up front. The food will be served to you at your seat for free, I heard. The game lasts about 3 hours (9 innings). Take a bus. Arrive about one hour before the game, walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. Dodgers Stadium is one of the most beautiful in MLB.

Bring a Giant's hat and Jersey. Root for the Dodgers to lose all the while saying" Hear that? The Giants are coming, the Giants are coming."
Many Dodger fans will want a chance to talk to you privately. Maybe somebody in the broadcast booth will put you on TV. You may even make the evening news on KLA.
Bring money.
Sit where your ticket says to sit.
Games last nine innings, unless there is rain.

Above all...Do Not Sit In The Outfield Pavilion!
