I try not to let people offend me because they don't know me, but people can be pretty rude and it gets to me. How do you not allow others on the net to bring you down?

No. I dont care what people that I dont know think about me. No offense but you just havent developed tough skin yet. After awhile you will realize that people will always have something negative to say and its usually based on insecurities within themselves. I hope you find comfort in knowing that.

sometimes. Just don't answer their questions. Try do avoid them.
Don't let people hurt your feelings. Just remember: People who say rude things on the Internet usually have no friends, job, and life. Be thankful that you are blessed with those.

Yes,
A while back I wrote a question regarding forms without the option to choose "bi-racial" for my children. I got great feedback. Then when I returned, this person said that my children were "N's" anyway. He was even able to spell the whole word out using three I's. I lost my breath, but then realized that this person wasn't worth getting hurt over, although I was angry. I have since reported him for abuse.

Hang out on yahoo a little longer. Things won't get to you as easily as they used to before. I'm a sensitive person anyways so when I first started using the internet seeing the n-word used to tear me up inside. Now it's just another word that has no effect on me. You'll be that way one day.

They try to do that over the internet because they are losers, who try to sound all bad over the computer,
because they are acually
complete losers in person,
and have nothing better to do than to sit on the computer all day,
either there a loser kid,
or a loser adult who can get a boyfriend or girlfriend

Well, it makes me mad for a few seconds, and sometimes I send them a little "follow-up" email letting them know it if their profile allows emailing, but then I get over it. I don't let it bring me "down", by any means. Try not to let it get to you!

yeah ive had people hurt me over the internet. there just losers at the end of the day thats what i tell myself anyway.

no people arguing over the internet is dumb. Because even if you win your are still a loser. So why even bother letting people hurt your feelings.

I look at the internet as: It's for entertainment puposes only. Why would I get mad at your font. Most people are looking for acceptance anyway.

Sometimes it gets to me a little but it also can be funny, and make me angry. They probaly don't have a life and have nothing better to do, but to be a brat.
