Reading a story is about so much more than finding out what happened. I don't think that people who post spoilers without warning about this are very nice, and in some cases are being deliberately cruel.
However, I think the best revenge in such a case is to go ahead and read the book and enjoy finding out HOW things happen. That can be as exciting and pleasurable as finding out what happens next. After all, haven't you ever re-read a book and enjoyed doing so, even though you already knew how it ended?
Don't be sad! A good book has so much more to offer than its ending!

What some of the would-be spoilers often don't realize is that there are people willing to go to the trouble of writing a whole book just to try and spoil another book for someone else. Many of the so-called leaks on the Internet are nothing of the kind... they are just exceptional pieces of fan fiction (such things are sold in China all the time).
So don't worry too much. Even if someone DID tell you something that actually happens, the journey is often as enjoyable as the destination, no?

No. I've tried staying off all Harry Potter sites and such so the plot won't be ruined for me. But really, a lot of people think they know whats going to happen, and they may guess right, but no ones really going to know for sure until the book comes out. So don't worry about it.

Nope because nobody knows what's going to happen except Rowling herself, and as of a month ago, her husband.
Wait nevermind, it's not open to the public yet but a lot of bookstores have it. Well, odds are whoever said that didn't know what they were talking about. You still have to read it to find out.

Trust me people are lying most likely. I've heard about how that book is guarded. It's been in the news a bit, but the book is so guarded...theres no way...and if the persons right...then idk....they either made a very eduacated guess or they got lucky...

No but if I am to be able to read the book without knowing who gets killed I suspect I will have to avoid all media from about 2mins past midnight when the book comes out.

Don't worry, it probably isn't true what you read. It will just be some idiot guessing at what happens cos they don't have anything better to do. I'm gonna read it as quickly as possible before anybody can spoil it for me, I would be absolutely gutted!
