you'll probably get a few if any, unless you do something with the intake system too, changing the exhaust is basically just for noise. Also with your foreign car it's gonna sound like a weed wacker.

Probably not much but it'll sound cool..

the engine controller is tuned to run with the factory exhaust system in place and it counts on having a certain amount of backpressure. the flowmaster muffler is a simple baffle type muffler designed for low backpressure for better flow. if are redoing the entire exhaust system then great make sure you buy one that is tuned by a pro or made for that car / engine combination. after that you need to retune the engine controller (they sell a chip for that usually) id you do all that you can expect a little more out of your engine.. again not much, 10 hp maybe, add a camshaft upgrade to the mix and maybe 15 - 30, add a bigger throttle body... more yet.. then theres porting and polishing.. turbo's,,, speeds a question of money.. how fast ya wanna go?

Mr. "Mechanic" from Detroit is mistaken. You wil get a 3-5 percent hp increase over your stock muffler. Stock mufflers restrict exhaust flow, resulting in backpressure which robe your engine of horsepower by making it work harder to expel exhaust gasses from the cylinders during the ehxaust stroke.
Free flow mufflers reduce the back pressure.

Two summers ago, I built a Saturn SCII street racer with my 17 year old daughter. Cool air intake, headers, free-flow cat and catback exhaust increased hp by about 35 percent.
A mild race cam, power chip and wet shot nitrous turned it into a 13 second car.

Its lowered 3" and has 17" wheels.

The amount of horsepower really doesnt change all that much or at all. Your vehicle is what it is and there isnt anything you can really do to it that will make it a "race" car.

i think mufflers give 5% increase in horsepower but if your car has 80hp 5% of that is 4hp so now you have a wopping 84horsepower good luck

Probably a few hp extra. It will sound better and you may get a little better mileage, unless you put your foot into it to hear the pipes sing. good luck.
