BIG TIME!
Aside fromt he fact that you could never top what Wally Cox did (I remember watching it first run as a child), it works better as animation than CG

It will do as good as all the talking dog/baby/animal movies of the last 10 years good for ages 5-12.

Is it sad that the effects work and the trailer already make it look better than Superman Returns? I have an easier time believing that dog can fly than Brandon Routh.

I think hollywood is trying too hard to resurrect icons of our childhood and somehow make them "serious" characters. But that's the problem....underdog (and so many of the others) were never meant to be serious. To attempt to make them so will seriously screw it up!

It' looks sooooooo bad. The cartoon was awesome, so why did they go and scew it up?? Off the big sceen in a week and straight to the bargain bin when it hits DVD.

i wont watch it. in fact if i was given a bootleg i wouldnt watch it. its an insult to all underdog fans!
