Yes, you can run water through them and then boil them to sterilize. After they're sterilized, hang them over a doorkiob or the back of a chair to let the water drain out.

I have a medela pump. I went to babies R us.. and purchased Quick Clean Micro-steam bags. You can put the tubing in the bag and clean it that way. It worked for me to get some milk out.
Altho, I'm sure any steam sterilizer will work to clean the tubing. Boiling could work too.. but I'd be careful of letting it sit in the bottom of a pan... it looks like it could melt.
You could maybe use a pipe cleaner to clean inside the tube.
Dont be surprised if the tube does change the color of the tube. there is also a note on the steam clean bags about that. But it says it wont affect the performance.
Also, they say you need to get all the water out of the tube before you use it... so make sure you plug it into the pump, and run the pump for a while to get all the water out. Then you should be good to go!

I use Medela Quick Clean™ Micro-Steam™ Bags, you can buy them at Babies R Us or Target; they're easy to use - you put the tubing in, cover with water and microwave them for a few minutes.

Run water through it and then just be sure to let it dry, if you can hang it straight so all the water will drip out then that is best. Also the tubes are fairly cheap you can get another tube from a lactation consultant.

Its from the water. Nothing wrong though. You can contact Medela and they will replace the tubing for free.

It's probably not worth cleaning. Visit your local pet store and pick up a few feet of aquarium tubing @ $0.50 a foot. It's the same thing.
I don't know if aquarium tube is food-grade, but if things are working properly the milk will never touch the tube.
