Ever heard the expression, "You get what you pay for."? Anything that's too good to be true probably is. Write the following phrases on separate scraps of paper:
Get a divorce.
Go to counseling.
The grass always looks greener on the other side.
Never cheat on your spouse.
Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?
Sit him down and talk to him.
You deserve better.
Then, put the scraps into a hat. When you have a problem, pull one of the scraps out of the hat, and there you will have the equivalent of asking just about any question on Y!A in the Marriage & Divorce category. Excepting a small handful of answerers, the above is about all you get here. While I love giving answers here, I would not come here for advice on anything important.

because on yahoo answers you are limited to how many words you can type, in therapy they will at least give you an hour and take notes so you don't have to start all over again!

Are you saying that Yahoo! Answers is a substitute for a good therapist? Therapists are trained in helping people solve their problems...unless Yahoo! Answers members are professional therapists, you should seek a pro.

Maybe they feel safer talking to an "expert". me... I don't want to admit my problems to someone I have to see sitting in front of me. Time, luck and hard work might fix my problems. Then again maybe they won't. A therapist can't guarantee everything will be o.k. At least on Answers I can get mulitiple opinions and see which one sounds right to me.

Well, if one relies on what is in yahoo answers then they should more than likely be committed.

I guess it is because we believe two dumb opinions add up to one smart one... or does it take three... I'm not good with math.
