The Wiki entry for Charles Manson (link below) has plenty of information about it. Aside from Manson, the people who went to jail for the murders were two men and two women, and yes, they're all still in jail.

If you're really interested in finding out about the "Manson Murders" go to the library and get the book "Helter Skelter", written by Vincent Bugliosi, its a recounting of the whole story. Its named after a song by Paul Mc Cartney from the famous "White" album, which supposedly was an inspiration for Charles Manson. Its a very compelling read, and very frightening regarding the "hold"Manson had over his followers.A warning though, it is very graphic and disturbing

the manson murders was the rusul of cult activity. Sharon Tate was murdered in cold blood. Yes the women also convicted in this crime are still in prison. Paroll boards will never release any of those from prison.

I think so. The murders happened in the seventies. Sharon Tate and her friends were murdered by the Manson gang in her house. Checkout :

There are plenty of factual accounts of what happened available online.
IMO, it was a sad example of how a clever, authoritative person can brainwash and control a bunch of lonely young people to commit heinous acts.

Everyone who committed a murder for Charlie is still in prison. They keep coming up for parole, but they are never allowed to go. Probably never will.
