you use nCr
n! / (n-r)! r!

so, (20C3+17C3) / 37C6

Is that the whole question? Because then it has to be 5. That would be 15 women and 15 men.....5 women and 2 men would be left, which couldn't make another group because there would not be 3 men left. I'm thinking that that is not the entire question though. Does it say atleast or atmost anywhere in the question? Or is there any words that were left out?

(20*19*18/2*3)*(17*16*15/2*3) = 62791200

Yes, more than 62 millions.
