Since 2005, the Phillies have been inches (or a few games behind) from making the Wild Card in the Playoffs. How do you think they will finish at the end of season?

Okay the Phillies have a long shot but hear is how they can do it. The mets will win the NL east anyway. For wild card the cubs and Braves team plane will have to crash into each other leaving everyone dead. Then a Monsoon will have to wipe out southern California destroying Los Angeles and San Diego, leaving Arizona for the Nl west

Nl east: Mets
Nl central : Brewers
Nl west: diamondbacks
wild card: Phillies

Hey any thing is possible

the first round: Mets vs. Diamondbacks
rattle snakes will storm onto the field killing all of the mets

Diamondbacks win the series

second match: brewers vs phillies
the brewers get drunk before all there games on miller light and get swept

second round:diamondbacks vs phillies
Ryan Howard drills a line drive through randy johnson killing him. The diamondbacks go through the rest of the series with no one pitching so they lose

In the World Series the kansas city royals have a monumental collapse after there 60 game win streak to end the season and the phillies become world champions

NO THERE IS NO WAY THE PHILLIES WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS

They won't do it as a wild card since that team will probably come from the west. That means they will have to finish ahead of both the Mets and the Braves which might not be an easy task. I would say the Phillies would be a long shot, at best.

No, they don't quite have enough to pass the Mets or Braves, but even if they should get into 2nd in that division, they still might not beat out the Dodgers, San Diego, the Cubs, or maybe even Arizona. At 500 they trail the Mets, Braves, Dodgers, San Diego, Chicago and Arizona.

Sorry, too many teams to pass, and too little time.

A team that finishes just over .500 (82-80) will not make the playoffs.

I thought so earlier this season but not now. They will not be able to jump the Mets and Braves you have to be second in any and division to have a chance at the WC I would have to say, No. There are too many teams ahead of them in the WC chase right now.

No. They're not winning the division and I dont think they're going to get the Wild Card. I think its gonna be the Mets, Cubs, Padres and Dodgers.
