That link from the article in the post above mine...

“My mother was getting tired of questions from prying members of her retirement community and wanted me to stand up for myself,” Simmons said. “She explained to me that in this world, you are either on the top or on the bottom. I’ve usually chosen the bottom, but not today. Thanks mommy!”

Simmons’ mother feels she needs no explanation. “Richie loves women. Always has. When he was growing up, all his friends were girls. He even played high school baseball, switching easily between pitcher and catcher,” she said. “I’m very proud of my straight son.”

...is there like, all this innuendo going on here or is it my dirty mind?

Chosen the bottom over the top....pitcher to catcher...

?_? The hints are there.

He doesn't need to come out. He knows we know he's gay.

It seems to me that possibly something was said way back when he was on General Hospital. I could be wrong. But I agree with others that he basically wears it on his sleeve. lol

Does he really need to? Come on now...Michael jackson has never come out and said "I like little boys" so does that mean he doesn't like little boys?

Get my point?

The best you can get is that he said "I might as well be gay."
