I got a whole bunch of new fabric and Im in the mood to sew...what are some really cool ideas that I can sew...And no I dont have a sewing machiene. So I need something that I can do by hand. It doesnt have to be really easy but not very difficult. I dont want to sew clothes though any thing but that. Well please send your answers in when ever you can! Thanks a lot :]

Try fabric flowers. If you search the web on "making fabric flowers" there are some good ideas. You can use them to decorate hats and clothes, or make pins out of them. (I'm thinking about making a bunch to give as thank you gifts.)
You might also want to do a banner. You could hand-baste with yarn, craft thread, or embroidery thread. Or you could do sort of a mixed media thing with some fabric paint. Maybe you could get some friends to work on it together.

make heat pads. fill heavy duty or double ply bags with a layer of rice. sitch a cover for it. you toss it in the microwave for a few mins and voila! heat pad that lasts
you can make longer ones to put around necks too
