Individual hope, probably. Little hope for the conglomerate.

That the human condition is a 'monstrosity' is entirely a matter of opinion. There are countless wonderful things in our world, and countless ways to make it more wonderful. I know that there are horrible things, and that many people have little but horrible things to experience. But despite your bleak outlook, that's the exception rather than the rule.
I was sexually abused as a child. When I was 15, I tried to kill myself. I was put into a mental hospital afterwords, and for years I hated my life and bitterly wished to end it. And than, I simply decided not to hate life. I looked around and noticed the good things, and realized that there were things worth holding on to. Since I realized this, I've been doing volunteer work in Africa. There is horror and poverty and death there, but also love, and passion, and hope.
I must sound like some sort of tv guru or, worse, a self help book. But I really mean every word.
Since monstosity is a human concept anyway, it requires a human being to lable it as one, and if you don't lable it such, then it isn't.

First, I would not agree that the human condition is a monstrosity. People are are what they are--a mixture of good and bad traits. Most of us are pretty mediocre and lead mundane lives. Some people shine a bit. A few live on the dark side, but even fewer could be described as monsters. Try not to be judgmental. All the best to you.

Without going to religious doctrine, I would say that the monstrosity is necessary for humans so that we can be able to elevate ourselves from that mire. If we did not have a balance within us then how will the humans know what is best.

Yes, personal responsibility. Lovingkindness. Forgiveness. Generosity.
No religion, no war, no greed.
Do what you can as an individual to make this happen in your everyday life.
Every little bit helps...

No there isn't we are all doomed to destroy ourselves in the future
It's inescapable we Will eventually destroy ourselves.
All there is left is hope
We can only hope that we become better people but we will only affect individuals
