do not answere if your answere involves any form of "seek psychological help"...im trying to find the safest, easiest, quickest way to become deaf...not for money, or a scam, or because i am psychologically defected...i have my reasons and would appreciate any "true" help in achieving my goals..i am asking so that i dont damage any other part of myself(balance)

Why would you want to go deaf???Try using earplugs for a day and see if you really want to be deaf for the rest of your life!!Do you know how to sign??Do your friends know how to sign???How will you communicate with those that you love???How will you be able to hear beautiful music. Have you thought this through???Be careful what you wish for,you may regret it later!!!!

If a sound reaches 85 dB or stronger, it can cause permanent damage to your hearing.

Don't be stupid (and deaf...I said DEAF...DO YOU HEAR ME NOW????).

My wife bitches at me because I play my guitar too loud.
She has a point...she is, after all, an audiologist.
So I take her advice to heart.

Remember, you can get a heart or kidney transplant...but you can't with your hearing.
Once it's gone, it's GONE.

it all depends on how it affects your brain. the brain controls everything. some people can listen to loud music ,some can't.
