I was wondering this cause I want to buy a motorcycle but think I could learn better on an automatic bike. I know it may be kind of sissy but hey I am 39 and never drove one before!

I know Honda has a hondamatic, thats an automatic, they do make automatic cycles for people like me that just don't understant the concepts of shifting. Personally, tho, the midlife crisis is not a time to start riding motorcycles and you could just start doing good for yourself instead.

I don't know about now. But if I remember right, way back in the mid 60's Honda had an automatic motorcycle. It looked like some of the scooters that are out there today. I think it had a 90cc motor. So check your Japanese motorcycle dealerships (Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha) and see if they can help you.

i had a 400cc. "hondamatic" they havent made them in a longtime but maybe you could find a used one. it was a 2 speed / hi - low gear bike, so you needed to use the clutch for brakeing and shifting but less than a normal bike. they are kind of small too. i used to ride it back ans forth to work. not alot of power but you dont need that when your just starting.
i'm 39 too and thats abought the age when you decide to learn a few things so you don't look back later with regret for the stuff you never got to do, i baught a guitar. lol
