I've used it - got it from my OB after my son was born. I liked it. It didn't make me sick like ortho did, and so far it's been effective. They're now making a version called Yaz, which is a lower-hormone dosage. Shorter periods, too.
I recommend either one.

yes iv used this one, and i would never againt take it. but then again, iv tried a few Pill's and i had similar effects from them (Yasmin being my worst), my ankles swoll up, and at the time i was a size 8, and in a week and a half i blew up two dress size, and my boobs went massive.
i could hardly walk from the pain of my swollen ankles. and i was serverly depressed from it, and my sex drive went to pot!
me being me and stupid at the time, completed the hole corse of yasmin, and didnt see my GP about the effects i was having. i totally regret going on the Pill now, but iv learnt. and never again.
but everyone is different, my mates are mostly all on yasmin, and are fine with it. it was just me, being the Odd Ball -theres always one eh??! lol. .
try it out, and IF you get ANY major side effects, like i did. .
get off it STRAIGHT AWAY, dont do what i did, and complete the corse!!
also you can experience bleeding between periods. you may notice some spotting or get breakthrough bleeding, but usually this clears up within the first few months, but it can occur later on. this type of bleeding is usually temporary and nothing serious.
get bloating (a feeling of weight gain) -(like i did, but real bad weight gain), an increase in blood pressure, a spotty darkening of the skin, nausea, vomiting, change in appetite, headache, nervousness, moodiness, dizziness, loss of scalp hair, rash, and vaginal infections.
if you experience any side effects while on the Pill tho, tell your gp professional. It is important to remember, though, that most side effects with the Pill are not serious and will probably clear up within a few months.
if you wear contact lens, sometime can get a side effect/change in vision or inability to wear contacts.
if you get any sort side effect inform your doctor, so they can keep a note of it, and make sure that you are ok on the Pill.
